What is a mid-height pool enclosure?

A mid-height pool enclosure is high enough to swim underneath, yet low enough not to dominate the garden. With a height of approximately 0.80 to 1.60 metres, you can swim comfortably in the middle of the pool while the enclosure stays closed.

Like the low models, it consists of aluminium segments with polycarbonate that slide over each other telescopically, so you can open the pool completely in good weather.

Benefits of a mid-height enclosure

You can swim on cool or rainy days too, protected from wind and rain. The enclosure retains the warmth of the sun, so the water stays at temperature for longer and the swimming season becomes noticeably longer.

The water stays clean, less evaporates, and with the enclosure closed the pool is shielded from children and pets. A sliding door at the side or front gives you access without opening the enclosure.

Our mid-height models

Our range of mid-height enclosures includes the Azure, Azure Compact, Tropea Neo and Universe Neo models. They are made to measure for pools of approximately 3.50 to 6.00 metres wide, with reinforced aluminium profiles.

You choose the model, the colour of the profiles and the position of the door. The configurator shows which models fit the dimensions of your pool.

Who is a mid-height enclosure suitable for?

A mid-height enclosure is the happy medium: more swimming comfort than a low enclosure, and less visible in the garden than a high one. Ideal if you want to swim with the enclosure closed without a full-size structure in your garden.

Installation and maintenance

The enclosure runs on rails along the pool. Our own specialised teams handle transport and installation throughout Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and France.

For maintenance, rinse the panels with water and a mild cleaning agent, and keep the rails free of dirt. Ventilate the enclosure regularly: some condensation on the inside is normal.
